Real Estate Remains Top Investment Choice
My family and I just got back from spending the holidays in Denver and my wife handed me the December 2007 Realtor magazine and it had a short topic that we found interesting. In a nutshell it states that 65% of polled investors still think that real estate is still the way to go. I'll type the whole topic since the archive link isn't up and it is pretty short, but very good to hear.
From the Realtor.org magazine
"Despite a real estate slowdown in some areas, investment real estate remains the No. 1 sought-after asset among investors with self-directed IRAs, a survey by Guidant Financial Group Finds. Almost 65% of the these investors, who make their own investment choices rather than let fund managers do it, want real estate in their retirement portfolios."
