New Home Sales Take a Dip
I was reading an article stating that new home sales took a dip in November by 9%, but if you read the article below you will notice that they actually increased by 4% in the west. We keep hearing all the 'doom and gloom' of the housing market, but here in the Phoenix area we still sold 6000+ new and used homes last month.....why don't we hear that in the news!??? I think '08 is going to be a great year, interest rates are low and there are a ton of great buys out there.
Full Article:

New-home sales dropped by 19.3 percent in the Northeast. They fell by 27.6 percent in the Midwest and 6.4 percent in the South. Sales increased by 4 percent in the West.
Year over year, new home sales nationwide have dropped by 34.4 percent, the greatest slide since early 1991.
