Cities are Feeling the Impact of Rising Foreclosures

Cities are feeling the weight of all the vacant homes in their cities.  City representatives are stating that each vacant house costs, on average, $34,000 for inspections, court actions, city utilities and even demolition.  That is a high price to pay, especially with the volume of homes on the market.  Not to mention the fact that it drops the value of homes in the area, along with the fact that few of these are even maintained.  More...
